Your Ultra Thunder Monthly Review: One Hour, Four Questions

Published October 29, 2026 · Ultra Thunder blog

Busy evenings make it hard to see the bigger picture. Blocking out a single hour after each month closes lets you spot what is going well in your Ultra Thunder room and what deserves a tweak.

Why look back at all

Most of an agent's week is reactive. A player messages, you check the payment, you load the username, you answer the next message. That rhythm keeps the room running, but it rarely leaves space to ask whether the room is actually growing, standing still or slowly shrinking. A short monthly review fixes that. You are not writing a report for anyone else. You are simply reading your own records once, while the month is still fresh, and deciding on one or two things to do differently.

The review works best when it happens on a fixed day, such as the last Sunday of the month or the first quiet evening after it ends. Put it in your calendar like any other appointment, because it is the first thing that gets skipped when things get busy.

What you need before you start

Gather three things before you sit down. First, your reload notes for the month: the date, the Ultra Thunder username, the money received and the credits added. If you already keep a sheet like the one in our transaction log guide, this part is done. Second, the history from your agent panel, so you can compare it with your notes. Third, your own record of credit orders you placed with your supplier during the month. With these open side by side, the rest of the hour is just reading and thinking.

Question one: do my notes match the panel?

Start with a quick reconciliation. Add up the credits you wrote down as loaded and compare that total with what the panel history shows. Small gaps usually have a plain explanation, like a reload you forgot to note on a hectic night or a test you ran on an empty test account. Larger gaps deserve a closer look. A missing entry might be a helper who loaded credits without telling you, or a username typed wrong that sent credits to the wrong person.

Finding these at the end of the month is not ideal, but it is far better than never finding them. If the gap points to someone else using your login, tighten your staff logins so that every helper signs in under a separate seat and each reload in the history carries a name.

Question two: who went quiet?

Scroll through your player list and mark anyone who reloaded regularly earlier in the month and then stopped. You do not need a formula. A simple mark next to each name is enough. Then think about why. Some players take a break for ordinary reasons like a busy job or a family event. Others leave because something went wrong: a slow cash-out, a login problem they never mentioned, or a reply that took too long on a Friday night.

A short, friendly check-in message can bring back players who drifted for a fixable reason. Keep it light, ask whether everything is working on their side and remind them when you are usually online. Avoid pressure or promises you cannot keep. Our player retention page has more ideas for keeping regulars comfortable without pushing them.

Question three: how did cash-outs go?

Players judge an agent most of all by how payouts feel. Look at the cash-out requests you handled this month and ask yourself two honest questions. Did any player wait longer than the time you told them? Did any request turn into an argument? If the answer to either is yes, find the cause. It might be that you settle cash-outs at random times, or that players never got a clear explanation of your process in the first place.

A fixed daily settlement time, written into your house rules, removes most of the friction. Players stop asking every hour once they know exactly when requests are handled. The cash-out process page walks through the steps if you want to tidy up how you do it.

Question four: did I order credits well?

Now look at your own credit orders. Count how many times you reordered and whether you ever ran low while players were waiting. Running dry on a busy evening is one of the most avoidable problems an agent has, and it usually comes from ordering in small amounts at the last minute.

Compare the credits you loaded this month with the credits you bought. If you loaded roughly the same amount every week, you can plan next month's orders around that pattern and keep a buffer for weekends. Fewer, planned orders also save time for you and your supplier. Our distributor promo is 10% with a 5,000-point minimum, and you can place an order on the buy credits page whenever you are ready.

Turn the answers into one or two changes

The point of the hour is not a long to-do list. Pick the one or two changes that would make the biggest difference next month and write them at the top of your notes. Examples include setting a fixed cash-out time, giving a new helper their own login, messaging five quiet players, or moving your regular credit order to Thursday so the weekend is covered.

At the next review, start by checking whether you actually made those changes and whether they helped. Over a few months this builds a clear picture of your room, based on your own records rather than guesses.

Keep the review small

It is tempting to turn this into a big spreadsheet project. Resist that. An hour with your notes, the panel and a cup of tea is enough for most agents. If the review starts taking a whole evening, your daily records are probably too scattered, and the better fix is to note each reload in one place as it happens. Agents who are just setting up can find a simple routine in our first-week starter guide and the main Ultra Thunder agent page.
