Ultra Thunder Balance Transfer Mistakes

Everyone who loads points for long enough makes a transfer mistake. What matters is catching it fast and fixing it honestly.

Wrong username

Similar names cause most errors. If the points are still untouched, redeem them back from the wrong account and load the right one. Message both players to explain. If the wrong player has already spent them, absorb the loss and correct the right player's balance.

An extra zero

Typing 5,000 instead of 500 happens. Redeem the excess immediately if unplayed and tell the player plainly what happened.

Double load

A slow connection tempts you to press send twice. Always check history before resending. If a double went through, explain and correct it.

Redeem from the wrong account

Reverse it by loading the points back, then apologise. Players accept honest corrections far better than silence.

Prevention

• Copy usernames from your log instead of typing them.
• Read the amount aloud before pressing send.
• Check history after every transfer.
• Avoid loading when exhausted.

Record the fix

Log the mistake and the correction, so your daily totals still reconcile.

When the player benefits from your mistake

Occasionally a player receives extra points and plays them before you notice. Talk to them calmly, explain what happened and agree a fair way forward. Most players respond well to honesty. Whatever you agree, write it down, and treat the episode as a reminder to slow down and double-check amounts during busy periods.
